Announcement of replacement events

England fencing was not able to attend the Epee and Foil event in Italy as it was not on the EFC circuit.

The replacement foil event will be Paris, France on the 3rd and 4th of February. The replacement Epee event will be in Lausanne, Switzerland on the 1st and second of June.

*Foil selection will use the rankings as they were on the originally published selection date for the event which was not attended in Italy. As the replacement event will take place before the second selection date for the event in Spain the decision has been made to use the original date.

** As the replacement Epee event in Switzerland will take place after what was originally the second selection date for the event in Croatia, we will choose a new selection date that is appropriate to reflect the rankings prior to the event.

Due to the changes in schedule England fencing will be sending a maximum of 14 fencers per sex to Paris, the squad size for Lausanne will be confirmed once we have more details of the event.
