What’s up next for England’s U14, U12 and U10 fencers?

Well there’s a bit of a choice over the next few weeks and months.

To get the England stuff, just enter GBR as Nation and EF as Region as in the picture.

You might want to sign up as an athlete or a club admin but you don’t have to. See the admins page on the EF website for why you might want to actually register. There’s lots on offer as part of England Fencing’s service to you as clubs and athletes.

Next ranking competitions in February are:

04 Feb – Newham Foil
05 Feb – Elite Epee in Moulton
05 Feb – Northern Youth Challenge all weapons in Wetherby
19 Feb – The Youth Series in Manchester
26 Feb – Stratford Sabre LPJS

When clubs and organisers start getting used to the calendar and managing their events in it you will be able to go from there to the entries. It’s early days yet.

So we don’t expect clubs to have managed to do that until the March competitions. At that point having the competition in the calendar 4 weeks in advance becomes a condition of inclusion in the rankings. That’s so fencers can plan and choose.
