Some statistics for you

Doing the club rankings and the combinations also allows us to get some idea – it’s not perfect by any means – of how many clubs and fencers are active at that age group and what the potential might be if we reach out and encourage you all.

We want to encourage everyone at all ages to go out and have fun competing.

There is huge scope for more young people to go out and make new friends in well run and friendly competitions regardless of whether they are aiming for the top or just want to see what it’s like to pit their wits and developing skills against someone new.

Well done all the 600 or so fencers and well over 100 clubs who got out there in 2022 and gave their u14 fencers something to shout about.
